Todd Tully was started as a means to take ideas and concepts of arQitecture into the realm of creating product.

In December of 2008, Todd Tully Danner, AIA, IIDA was invited to create a display about his firm,  arQitecture, for the Delaware College of Art and Design's winter show on Interior Design.  Instead of the normal gallery of finished projects, the firm decided to execute on an idea that they had bounced around for the interiors of their own office.  The concept was to represent their work in small vignettes, that together created a space for the visitor to experience and understand arQitecture's eclectic style. In order to do this, several pieces needed to be created to represent various projects.

The first piece created for the installation was the coffee table to represent the work done for Plexus Fitness, a modern gym created for corporate employees in downtown Wilmington, DE.  The project used natural elements through out to help give the experience of being one with nature and so the piece uses a natural wood slab to create the table with the curved steel base representing all of the curves of the space and the raw steel of the equipment.

The next piece needed was a dresser to anchor the seating group and to represent the law firm Cooch and Taylor.  Their space used the exterior of the building as inspiration and brought the details of the plan and facade into the space.  The heavy concrete waffle pattern of the former headquarters of DuPont provided a great contrast to the smooth modern finishes.  Several walls and the front desk use the pattern of the exterior in various scales.

The installation was the spark to creating products and Todd Tully becoming closer to realization.  These early pieces have been refined and many more pieces have been developed since then.

We are still finding our way in the world of retail and how we manufacture and distribute our product, but all of it can be purchased directly from Todd Tully.  So please inquire about anything you like.
